Catching the "big one" and proud of it! Fishing is bountiful both on the bays and in the Gulf.  Public fishing piers line the coast for a leisurely day, (permits

available for $5.00), or charter a boat for deep sea fishing.  Charters are offered out of  Ocean Springs, Biloxi, Gulfport, Long Beach, and Pass Christian

harbors.

Catamaran rentals are available in Biloxi and Gulfport, or rent a boat for kayaking on the Wolf

Kids and adults alike enjoy the inexpensive shrimp tour trip that departs at Biloxi Small Craft Harbor.

Shop while the husband plays golf at one of our three shopping malls, Edgewater Mall in Biloxi, get some good buys at The Gulfport Outlet Stores, or visit the new Crossroads Mall in Gulfport.  Antique shopping and one of a kind shops and restaurants can be found in the historic districts of  Ocean Springs, Biloxi, Pass Christian, and Bay St. Louis.

Tullis-Toledano manor,  (below left) the town green in Biloxi is officially lit up on Dec. 1, coinciding with the

festive "Christmas on the Water" boat parade with more than 80 boats glowing with Christmas colors.

Tullis-Toledano Manor in Biloxi can be toured all year, and offers reception

areas for special occasions.

Artistry abounds all along the coast.  You'll see examples like the sign above in each downtown district.  At left is the historic post office in

downtown Long Beach.

Public transport is available coast wide, or take one of our trolleys from one end of the beach to the other, to the casinos, malls, or other attractions.  Daily flights are available directly to the Mississippi Coast via the Gulfport/Biloxi Regional Airport, as reasonably priced as flying into Mobile or New Orleans.  Car rental agencies are located at the airport also for your convenience.  For great day trips, visit the French Quarter in New Orleans (80 miles from Biloxi) or historic Mobile, Alabama, 50 miles to the east of Biloxi.

The famous carved indian head at Indian Head Point in Ocean Springs that greets visitors as they enter Ocean Springs from Biloxi.

An old shrimp boat that was blown ashore by Hurricane Camille in 1969 and stills sits where it landed.  Now it is a tourist attraction in Gulfport, and serves to remind us of the great storm.
